1.  What is a Virtual Freelance Paralegal (VFP)?
The National Federation of Paralegal Associations defines the freelance
paralegal as:
"A freelance paralegal, also known as a contract paralegal, is no different than
a traditional paralegal except to the extent that s/he is not employed by an
attorney in a traditional setting such as a law firm, governmental entity or
corporation.  Rather, a freelance paralegal is retained on an as-needed basis by
many supervising attorneys in these settings.  Freelance paralegals are
educated and qualified to perform paralegal work just the same as traditionally-
employed paralegals."

2.  What is the advantage of retaining a VFP?
VFPs only work when needed.  That means you don't have to pay a VFP for
any of the "extras" associated with staff members – no overhead, no
insurance, no vacation or sick time, no taxes. It is an efficient and profitable
way for businesses to outsource their labor and increase revenues without
interrupting the continuity of the work.  By turning over their paralegal and
administrative needs to a trained, experienced freelance professional,
businesses can achieve a win-win position by fulfilling their paralegal and
administrative support needs at no risk to their bottom line.

3.  How can I save money with a VFP?
When an attorney retains the services of a VFP, that professional is only
getting paid when billable work is generated. For example, if an attorney bills
their client $1500 for a bankruptcy and pays a VFP a flat fee of $200 to
prepare it plus $300 in court costs, the firm has a $1000 increase to their
bottom line.  With a VFP, you can minimize effort and maximize profit.

4.  What do you mean by Total Profit Solution?
The most critical component to the success of an attorney is billable time.
TPS guarantees that our services are 100% billable. Unlike full-time staff
members, our VFPs do not have any unproductive time in the service
provided to attorneys.
